Arthur Moon
Artist Coach & Consultant
Working with artists, managers and their teams at the meeting point of creative community and sustainable practice.
I work with some of the most dedicated, talented and successful artists, songwriters, producers and music executives of our generation.
Together we handle music and the power that comes with it in a way that is sustainable and uplifting. We forge new pathways together and find a way of working that feels more alive and more true.
I help artists find a way back to themselves.
We are all simply in service to one thing - the music itself.
The question is - how can we step aside and let it through?
You transform what you perceive into something others can feel.
Your creations invite community and connection even communion.
This is a space to claim your clarity. To root deeper down into that natural place.
I work one-to-one with artists and band members, or as a group; bands and collaborators of all kinds.
We explore: Finding your authentic power // Artistic/Personal Identity // Inner and outer alignment // Deeper meaning
Together we navigate: Creative block // Lack of balance // // Turbulent Relationships // Burnout // Lack of control // Fame // Autonomy //Sustainable creative practice // Team management // Touring resilience
For artists
The artist's task is to save the soul of mankind
- TerranceMckenna
Behind every artist is a constellation of dedicated people who want the best for their artist. Transforming the vision into reality under a lot of pressure.
The work can demand everything and more. Often thankless.
I work one-to-one with managers, or as a group with the artists they work with.
We work on: Sustainable Systems // Communication & Relationships // Healthy Boundaries // Strategic Alignment // Long-term Vision // Work/Life balance
Together we look at: Self Worth & Identity // Success & Failure // Burnout Prevention // Creative Boundaries // Industry Pressures // Crisis Cycles
For Managers
"The goal of life is to make your heartbeat match the beat of the universe, to match your nature with Nature."
- Joseph Campbell

The artist was seeking to reestablish a connection with his sense of self. Reclaim some autonomy and bring some agency back into his life. He was looking to build sustainable structures that support both his artistic freedom and mental wellbeing after an extended period away from live shows.
We implemented:
Restructured artist-manager relationship to establish creative autonomy
Worked to reduce release barriers: shorter campaign cycles
Built out grounding through emphasising ‘real life’ over ‘music life’
Connected with professional specialists for holistic support
Established work/life boundaries and business empowerment
The results
Instagram reactivated
Artist album completed and delivered
Artist development programme established
Returning to live shows after three years

As the band prepared to release their third album faced internal conflict over the structure and presentation of the release. Creative disagreements between members led to a standstill, delaying progress and creating tension within the team.
The approach
- Listened to the full album to understand the musical and emotional landscape
- Developed a release structure that balanced artistic intent with clarity and cohesion
- Facilitated communication between band members to ensure both perspectives were honoured
- Provided objective, music-led guidance to resolve creative deadlockThe result
- Creative conflict resolved

- Album released shortly thereafter -
After being mistreated within the music industry, the writer was left disillusioned and disconnected from his creative identity. Educated in a predominantly white environment, he felt his cultural roots and individuality as a Black artist had been eroded — a pattern that was beginning to repeat itself in his professional life.
The approach
Supported artist in reconnecting with his non-conformist artistic roots and authentic sense of self
Explored the impact of systemic and personal disempowerment on his creative and professional choices
Developed strategies to rebuild confidence, autonomy, and ownership of his artistic direction
The result
Renewed sense of empowerment and creative identity
Reclaimed connection to his cultural and personal roots
Re-established professional confidence and autonomy within his career

The two founding members of the band were no longer communicating and were struggling to finish and deliver their second album ahead of an upcoming tour. Years of built-up resentment had fractured their relationship, bringing collaboration and progress to a standstill.
The approach
Coordinated a mediation session to restore communication and trust
Introduced structured frameworks to help each member express feelings in a safe, constructive environment
Facilitated honest dialogue that allowed both parties to feel heard and understood
The result
Communication and creative connection re-established
Band members left the session expressing they wished they had done it years earlier
Returned to the studio with renewed energy and collaboration
Successfully completed the album and resumed making music together

An emerging artist was torn between retaining ownership of her rights and the allure of signing with a major label. The manager strongly believed in protecting the artist’s long-term independence, while the artist was drawn to the perceived stability and exposure offered by a major deal. Arthur was called in to support this exploration. The approach
Reviewed all available material and deal options to clarify the implications of each path
Facilitated an open group meeting to explore the emotional and practical motivations behind the artist’s decision
Created a space for transparent discussion between artist and management, aligning values and future goals
The Outcome
Artist signed a distribution deal, retaining control of her rights
Maintained the flexibility to pursue a major label partnership in the future
Manager-artist relationship strengthened through trust and collaborative decision-making

The process
Our work together can be seen a partnership.
Most of my client relationships are long term as the most significant change happens slowly over time; partnerships are typically 12 months and more. That said, meaningful work can also happen in just one session or a short series.
My practice is based at Maker’s Yard in Frome, Somerset. I see people in person or online as appropriate. I am in London once a fortnight and Los Angeles twice a year.
